I recently had the pleasure of attending the sneak peek of
the new Dave and Busters in Rogers, Arkansas. It
was my first time to go to a Dave and Busters, so I learned a lot and had so
much fun. My friend/photographer Holly
joined me for the Thursday afternoon event.
For this enjoyable afternoon, I decided to mix prints. I wanted to be able to enjoy the games while being stylish. I decided skinny jeans and my comfy booties were key items to wear. Pairing them with my striped top gave me the right amount of comfort mixed with style. I
chose this playful striped ruffle top from The Haley Boutique paired with black
skinnies from Old Navy. I am obsessed with them. To accessorize, I added my
favorite leopard bag from RiffRaff, and the tan booties I wear almost daily
from Versona. I added my Kendra Scott
cuff and statement earrings to complete the look.
Once we arrived and checked in, one of the managers gave us
a tour of the place. This location is a
smaller foot print than some of the other Dave and Busters, but it still has
all of the energy and atmosphere for a great experience. We walked through the Million Dollar Midway
first. I learned that a lot of the games
are made just for Dave and Busters. The company takes pride in keeping them
clean and like new. They have the world’s largest Pac-Man. Now that sounds like
a game I would enjoy! I grew up playing Pac-Man on my parents’ Atari. Dave and Busters has two types of games,
redemption games and simulator games, to appeal to a wider client base. There are definitely games for everyone. I had a blast with the basketball game and
even won a prize out of the “The Big One.”
We checked out all the prizes in the winner circle
next. You can win anything from candy to
big ticket items, such as a PS4, an Amazon Echo, Beats Headphones and more. Your tickets do not expire, so saving them up
for a big item would be my route!
Later, we checked out the restaurant side of Dave and
Busters. It is geared towards watching “the big game.” The setup has a cocktail feel with a gorgeous
bar and a ton of TVs. Each TV can play a
different channel which I think is so cool. Everyone will be able to watch the
sporting event of their choice. I can
imagine cheering loudly for the Razorbacks or Chiefs while eating with my
husband and friends. It would be a
blast!
The food was amazing and not just your typical bar
food. I am definitely a bit of a foodie.
This is a place I would enjoy going back to and eating again. They had a wide variety of options for
everyone, but my personal favorite was the chicken and waffle sliders. I mean, I can never pass up waffles! I had a few other favorites on the menu
too. The BBBacon Burger has 3 types of
bacon on it! Anyone that knows me well knows that I love bacon. The Ultimate
Mac and Cheese was really good too. It had chicken and bacon in it and of
course, lots of cheese. For dessert, I ate the Bananas Foster Pie. OMG, sooo
yummy! I should have gone back for a
second piece.
To finish off the bar experience, we had them make some fun
nonalcoholic drinks for us. (It was the
middle of the day, and we both had responsibilities to take care of afterwards.
Lol.) I had the Grape Candy Chill with
creepy crawly gummy worms. I loved the
grape drink. The flavor was tasty and not too sweet. I definitely think every
little kid will want one of these. We also had the Sno Globe. It is a blue raspberry flavor with a light up
ice cube! The entertaining part of this drink is that you can change the color
that the ice cube lights up. I’m pretty
sure I need one of these ice cubes in my house to make all my drinks more fun.

Overall I had a wonderful afternoon playing games, eating
food, and catching up with Holly. I can
totally see myself going back to Dave and Busters with my husband and friends
for a fun night out. Hope to see you
there next time!
