Vacation Recap

Hello Lovelies!

My husband and I had such a fun relaxing vacation at Orange Beach, so I thought I'd share some photos and outfit deets with y'all!

On the first day of our trip, we went to the Arkansas Derby. It was so cold and rainy, but we still had fun! My hubby and sis-in-law won a little money on the derby race too! I wore a blue dress with cut-outs to the race. I originally planned to wear wedges with this dress, but once the rain set in I decided that flats would be better.

On Sunday, we arrived at the beach. Our room was perfect! It had an ocean view with sliding glass doors to the balcony. We left the doors open anytime that we were in the room so we could enjoy the sound of the waves rolling in.

I wore this ruffle tube top by Meritt Clothing label to dinner on our first night. Of course, we walked to the beach on our way to dinner.

We spent our week hanging out on the beach, golfing, and eating delicious food! In case you were wondering, I don't golf. However, I did a great job of driving the golf cart for my hubs. We went to three different courses. I had the most fun at the first course because we were the only people there that day. The last course was just gorgeous! I enjoyed checking out all the houses right on the course. In this picture, I'm wearing my golf outfit. Haha! It's the only collared shirt I own. This bag was perfect for toting around all my stuff too.  It's from Zyania.

We also played mini golf at Pirates Cove. Now this is my kind of golfing! I may not have beaten the professional golfer, but I did get a hole-in-one.

Our favorite places to eat were The Gulf and Colbalt.

We went to The Gulf three times. It was in walking distance of our resort. The food was so fresh, the atmosphere was so fun, and the drinks were so fabulous! I know most of you saw my photo about the inflatable chairs on the beach. How fun was that?! Such a cool and chill hangout! Twice, I ate a cheese burger with a blueberry (and blackberry) mojito. On Saturday, the taco bar was open, so I decided to try them. I had one shrimp taco with pickled onions and one mahi mahi taco with purple cabbage. They were amazing! I would have gone back for more, but we had to leave town the next morning.

We ate at Colbalt on our last night at the beach. I wish we would have tried this place earlier in the week. I ate an ahi blackened tuna salad, and it was perfect! We sat outside on the dock with the sun setting, live music playing, and boats speeding by. I wore my floral off the shoulder romper. This outfit was definitely worth saving for our last night out. I just love it.
Romper is from Impressions and is currently sold out.

The highlight of my trip was going to the Kate Spade outlet! As most of you remember, I made a deal with my hubby. First, he could play golf as long as I got to go to Kate Spade. Second, I wanted to get my birthday present while there! The people who worked at the store were so nice and talked to both of us. Seth even enjoyed being in the store and helped me make decisions.  And he hates shopping! LOL! There were some sales going on, so I ended up deciding on three pieces. I love with them all. One of them can go with every outfit, so I always have a reason to take Kate with me!  I can't wait to go back to the Kate Spade outlet.

Hope you all enjoyed my favorite spots and outfits!  Peace!

Spring Obsession Four

Hello Lovelies,

Blush and Rust are my favorite colors to wear this spring.

Both are tones of red on the color wheel.  If you lighten rust enough, you end up with blush! Pantone colors list for this year includes Pale Blush, Rose Quartz, Rose Champagne, and Rusted Copper. All of these pair well together or can be worn individually.   Here are some of my favorite spring looks!

I consider blush as a neutral.
The soft subtle tone is just the right amount of color with any outfit.

I hope ya'll have a wonderful week!

XOXO,
Love Leigh
